About Quartz
Quartz is a man-made material known for consistent colors and patterns, making it easier to visualize your finished countertop. It’s a popular choice for its durability, stain resistance, and low maintenance. Because quartz is non-porous, sealing is not required. However, there are a couple of limitations to consider:
- Heat sensitivity: Quartz can be damaged by temperatures above 300°F. Always use trivets or hot pads with hot cookware.
- Not for outdoor use: Prolonged exposure to sunlight and UV rays can cause fading, so quartz is best suited for indoor applications only.
Below are just a few of our quartz options currently available. Because screen images can distort color accuracy, we highly recommend visiting our showroom in Madison, IN to view and hand-select your slab in person.
