Quartzite Counter-tops

Quartzite is a metamorphic rock made almost entirely of mineral quartz. Quartzite is typically white or light-colored due to the sand quartz being lightly colored. What is the difference between granite and quartzite? Granite is a completely separate category formed from liquid magma. Visually, granite has distinct flecks of darker colors in it, while quartzite is generally harder and denser, and the pattern is more like marble, or may have subtle areas of different colors. Sometimes people mislabel quartzite as granite due to the similar properties. Granite and quartzite are both harder than glass and neither can be etched by acids.

Below are a few of our in-stock colors, but there are many more colors to choose from by visiting our showroom! Natural stone is a product of nature and is subject to pleasing variations in color, texture, and movement. Pictures do not necessarily depict accurate shading and hues. Because computer monitors are calibrated differently, the colors you see may vary from the actual material. GranBrazil strongly recommends you visit the showroom in Madison, IN to hand-select your stone and find your perfect new quartzite counter-tops!

Choose your own slab. Inventory is on-site. Installation is included in square foot price.
